Drawing upon Notts Sport's extensive expertise and innovative approach, the collaborative effort has resulted in a cutting-edge facility tailored to meet the unique needs of the school and its aspiring athletes.
The Notts Sport synthetic turf system design ensures consistent ball roll and bounce, enhancing the game's flow. One of the core components that sets this hockey pitch apart is the XC shockpad Programme by Trocellen, integrated beneath the playing surface. This innovative shockpad system ensures enhanced player safety and reduced risk of injury by providing superior impact absorption and force reduction. Students and athletes can now confidently enjoy their game, knowing they have a safe and supportive surface beneath their feet.
Complimenting the shockpad is the S-Tec Integration sand-dressed carpet by Lano. This premium sand-dressed carpet perfectly balances grip, ball control, and speed, offering players an exceptional playing experience. With this cutting-edge carpet, Oakwood High School's hockey pitch is poised to become the envy of schools and sports clubs across the region.
