We are thrilled to announce two personnel changes to our Notts Sport team.

Andrew Earnshaw and Duncan Bennett

As of the 1st of November, Duncan Bennett has become Chief Executive and Andrew Earnshaw has moved from Export Director to Managing Director.

Duncan has consistently demonstrated outstanding skills, leadership qualities, and a commitment to excellence. He has played a vital role in delivering Fast Track Funding and ShockWave to the market and has shown exceptional professionalism throughout his time with Notts Sport.

We are confident that he will continue to thrive in this new position and contribute significantly to the team's success, where he will be responsible for setting the organisation's vision and strategy.

"It's an exciting opportunity to work with Andy and the entire Notts Sport team to deliver a detailed and long-term strategic plan developed over many months with the wider Executive Board members," Duncan commented.

"Andy and I are keen to ensure we avoid being seen to do the same things as we have always done, expecting a different or better outcome.  The challenge is to retain all the best things about Notts Sport and make sure we continue and adapt to the ever-changing markets in which we operate.

Indeed, we have already brought Franck Opsomer & Sam Morris into the sales team, which, coupled with some innovative new products and solutions launching in the coming months, we have a real chance to grow the business & meet our customer requirements in 2025 and beyond."

Andy has moved into the Managing Director position to oversee the day-to-day operations, manage personnel and ensure Notts Sport meets its goals.

Having worked in the industry for over 30 years Andy has an unrivalled wealth of experience, his knowledge of the products and relationships with suppliers and customers is legendary.

Andy said, "I'm delighted to be given the opportunity as Managing Director, and having been part of the planning phase, I see a successful future for Notts Sport & one that I am excited to lead.   

Implementing and delivering that plan over the next 2-3 years is a real challenge, but it is one that I know we can deliver as a team with the support of our long-term supply chain partners across Europe and further afield.

Moving across from Export Director to Managing Director, I have a very clear remit, working closely with Duncan & the wider team here at Notts Sport to ensure that our key targets are met in the short, medium and longer term."
